The Christmas Cup Tournament

with the launch of Team Satisfaction Revamped's new Forum we have decided to host a huge tournament.
we like to call it the Christmas Cup Tournament.

Depending on how many people register the tournament will be that much bigger.

Depending on how many people enter we have the following rules:

if 20+ people enter -
for the preliminaries:
we will break up the people into different HAM networks of equal size. there each person will be matched up at random. the duel will be single elimination so be careful on which deck you choose. the winner in each pre-lim HAM network will advance to the main event.

the Semi Finals:
during the semi finals, match duels will take place with side decking allowed


Rules of the overall tournament:
1. There will be no deck restrictions, use whatever style you want, glads, BW, lock down, we don't care. play the strongest you have. the reason for no deck restrictions is simply because we see other teams and other tournies with these restrictions and we feel that if you can't beat these "broken decks" then you can't handle everything that comes your way. with that being said, i hope no one will take advantage of this and make a complete lock down deck simply because i said you can use whatever you want. use your best deck, more or less.
2. as stated before the pre-lim's will be 1 duel games, you loose you are out. and the semifinals are match duels
3.if the duel freezes or something like that happens. both players are required to take screen shots of their fields and send them via PM to one of the [SR] members, i will post which our team mates will be handling the decisions at a later time.
4. we encourage all decissions on rulings be determined by both players, but if still undecided please feel free to ask one of the [SR] members, but again please decide on rulings on your own, only contact us if either of you call BS or can't find the ruling online
5. as soon as you start your pre-lim duel you may not change your deck or side deck, or extra deck by any means. you will start and finish with the exact build. if at anytime someone notices a strange change in your deck or style we will have to take a look into it, and if the changes seem too good to be true you will be kicked out. so please be fair and keep your decks the same!
6. if you do not conduct any of your duels within 2 days of the match ups announcement, you will loose automatically. players, if you try to contact your opponent and they do not answer, pls take screen shots and PM them to one of the [SR] members in charge (i will post a list of names of [SR] personale on a later date). if in 2 days your opponent has not responded they will be disqualified.
7. Due to the screwed up nature of the KCVDS shuffle we will permit a "Destiny Draw" card, but only duing the semi finals, not the prelims
8. the format will be Advanced Format, using the most up to date ban list
9.THIS IS OPTIONAL, YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUT: We ask that Semi-finalist and finalist record (using HyperCam http://www.hyperionics.com/hc/downloads.asp) at least one duel and send it to srtournaments@gmail.com for posting on our forums

basically a destiny card is a card you are allowed to remove from play at the begining of a duel during the semi and final rounds. and instead of your draw phase, you can add that card to ur hand once per duel.
the destiny card cannot be changed so choose wisely, and make sure that you tell your opponent the card.
players will not allowed to use their destiny cards during the first round of the tournament
